Description
- Ingredients: water, alcohol (35-40%), and 100% Madagascar Grade A-TK single-use extracted whole vanilla beans — no grade B, shorts, splits, or end cuts. The bean moisture at the start of extraction was ≈30%.
- The vanilla bean weight to alcohol ratio before the start of extraction was more than 20 ounces of pristine vanilla beans per gallon of solvent. Our extra vanilla-rich extracts have much greater flavor and robustness because we add 50% more vanilla beans to our extract formulas than the requirement set by the FDA at 13.35 oz/gallon.
- No added vanillin, sugar, dextrose, corn syrup, coloring, dyes, glycerin, propylene glycol, vanilla oleo-resin, or anything else not extracted initially solely from the organic vanilla beans and alcohol.
- It is an entirely passive extraction process at 75 degrees constant. No heat, volatilization, cold pressing or pressurization, nor molecular acceleration that would damage, degrade, and destroy the fragile and subtle flavor compounds.
- Medium mesh filtered; the extract includes vanilla seeds and fine particulates. If you want additional filtering, use a fine strainer as desired, or don’t shake the bottle.
